A very competitive market with each holding it's own..A good thing in my opinion.
I don't base my buying decisions on what the masses do anyway. :drink:

I didn't realize the Tundra was that strong. I assumed it had pockets of the country that it sold well in while others that you couldn't give one away. Around here Ford is by far and away #1 in sales but I see as many Tundras as I do Chevy/ GMC trucks. But this area loves the Tacoma so I would assume that if someone with a Tacoma decides to go larger they will go to the Toyota dealership first.
I was surprised to see how weak Nissan was. I guess that is what you have when you have a ten year old design.
I was amazed to learn that the Tacoma outsells the Sierra. It blows away the Tundra in sales and isn't that far behind Ram. It's not competing with those trucks but it proves just how strong the mid-size market is and how wrong domestic makers were when they claimed the mid-size market was dying. Tacomas are up almost 30% in sales from last year! Not much dying going on in that segment. I think 1/2 tons have gotten too big for some folks.
Seems GMC would be better off with just focusing on the Chevy line.
