2010 trv 1100 questions

I'm dealing on a new 900xt but a car dealer in my area took in a 2010 1100 with 65 hrs. It had tracks on it for the first 47 hrs. I went and drove it today, it had a vibration in high range driving it down the blacktop road, is this normal? Also I shifted it into four wheel drive and couldn't get it to come back out. I stopped, tried taking it out of gear, tried turning the steering wheel back and forth, drove it ahead, then it came out. Tried it again and had trouble again, maybe I wasn't doing it right? A doctor had it and I don't think it has ever been serviced yet. Thought the price was right but don't want to buy it if its got issues. Thanks guys.

The vibration in high gear driving down a blacktop road is probably the tires, it is on mine. I also never drive mine in high gear unless I am going down a blacktop road to the truck stop over on the highway to get diesel fuel for tractors and the RTV. I pretty well keep mine in the M unless I'm really pulling a steep hill and I usually keep mine in 2wd.
The moving from 2wd to 4wd is sort of a learned deal. I put pressure with my fingers on the lever and drive and if it doesn't shift into 2/4 then I may let off while still appying pressure. It seems really easy to me but that's after a bit of experience.
