I have a 2210, this subject has been discussed many times over the last couple of years. All the 2000 series do this. The severity can be reduced by eliminating the fast dump feature of the spool valve. The manual shows you how to do this. Running at high rpm's also helps. I think more or less when you dump, the hyd. fluid is moving faster than the pump is able to supply.

I have been following this advice and it almost eliminates the problem. But the bucket does dump much slower.
I wonder if the orifice J.D. is recommending would do the same thing.
Any news yet?

Thanks

This sounds unacceptable to me. When you purchase a loader, you assume that it will operate as intended, and has been thoroughly tested by the manufacturer to work well. You should be able to fire up the tractor and work it without worrying about extra steps involved to avoid cavitation or not being able to feather the controls. it's the same thing as those darn anti-scalp wheels on the 62d deck that divot the lawns. Sometimes what looks good on paper doesn't translate to customer satisfaction in the field.
