I've removed my 200CX loader about a dozen times since I got my 2520 without any problems. For whatever reason, I can not get the Yellow and Black lines to reattach no matter how I try it. These are the lines for the bucket cylinder (Rod and Head). Has anyone run into this before.

If you mean you can't push them in to get the sleeve to snap on, you could either have pressure on the hose or dirt in the sleeve. Try pushing the end of the connector (the raised button) against a flat surface. If it doesn't push the tip in, you have pressure on the hose. Usually you can release it by pushing hard against the surface.

Exactly. Tried that with no luck. Can't get it to budge when pressed against a hard surface.

I used to have that same problem with the loader on my JD4100. It seemed to happen if I unhooked the loader and left it out in the sun for a number of days.

What I got to work was to loosen a couple of the connections where the hose fitting attaches to the hydraulic ram in order to relieve some pressure. You only have to loosen the nuts enough for fluid to bleed out. Worked every time for me.

Try this,

1. Wipe hose and connector with some cloth or something that your willing to wipe it with that is fairly clean.

2. Push the line in like the worlds going to end.

mine does that if say....I leave it out in the rain and the bucket is full of rain water rolling forward....there is an incredible amount of pressure in the hose....the first time I ended up beating the end of the hose with a 2X4 to relieve the pressure I thought for sure I was breaking something or something had already broke...

Just push the round tip from the hose against something hard (block, concrete floor whatever) until some oil leaks out. If you can't get it pressed...press harder that is your problem...if it presses very easy and oil trickles out dirt is your problem....

(PS just in case don't where good clothes...if pressur is your problem it will squirt...)

I've had to take fittings and hit them against the drawbar on some bigger farm equipment to get the pressure to bleed off enough to plug in. Just put the fitting in your hand and beat it against something hard like your using a rock to it a nail in. It will spirt oil out and then you can plug it in.

Put a couple of folds of fabric on top of the coupler and hit it with a plastic mallet or hammer. The fabric is optional if you don't mind hydro fluid showers.

I was able to get it by using channel lock pliers. They worked great but was a little messy.

Something similar happened to me once when I took the loader off on the concrete driveway behind my truck. I couldn't get it connected no matter how much fluid I bled off on the driveway. It had heated up in the sun. I went out early the next morning before work and it connected right up. I had chosen a nice flat spot to make it easier to put back on. I have never done that again. Most of the time I take off the bucket for mowing and leave the loader frame in place.

It's all fun and games until you try to explain that you can't come to work because your tractor has your truck trapped in the garage.
