2009 polaris ranger 500 4x4

Just got one of these. Well....its waiting to be delivered to me. Anyone else got a Ranger 500? I did alot of research, and for the $, suspension, power, top end, ...I thought this was the one for me. I dig the full underbody armor, beer holder,bed size, and the EFI........can't wait to take it down to the creek!

I'm the Kubota/Grasshopper goto guy.... But you did buy a good machine, and I have 100% faith in our polaris tech.

Cool...thats good to know. Funny how no other UTV was in this class...they run this one against the Rhino 700.???? I test drove with Billy.....he froze his *** off on that test drive.....But, no other UTV I drove rides as smooth, hauls as much, tows as much, the new 09 has alot of improvments. This was not a hard decision for me after extensive research. I am sure I will be happy with it. The weather is looking better all the time!

Hello to all. This is my first post. I have been reading all posts for a while.
We bought a new 04 Ranger when we first got to Missouri. It has been in almost daily use since then. I think you will be very happy with your new 09.

Ours gets used for almost everything, from hauling wood to hauling the grandkids. It is a fun workhorse around here.

On another note; I sure wish I had known of this site when I started out.... would have saved a lot of money and rookie mistakes. Thanks Guys and Gals

I love it when people make the sales people freeze!

I'm more of a rzr kinda person....but I'll probably never own one. The RangerHDs are pretty nice, we installed a cab on one...pretty expensive toy once you do that. But the power steering is a nice feature to have.

I have an '06 Ranger. It is a great vehicle. I would like to see a better emergency brake setup though. Something that locked the hyd. disk brakes. We have used ours to haul a lot of firewood, and pulled some big logs to cut up. Awesome power, very well balanced. Love it.
