OK everyone.

I found a program to convert .pdf to .jpg.

Attached is the list I have made up.

If you see any mistakes or have corrections, please let me know and I will update accordingly.

Thanks 2008 Jinma 284 Maintenance Parts-Supplies_1.jpg

does AW32 equate to 10wt?
It does in viscosity but differs in other qualities, foaming, wear, etc.

I know about the injection pump now. Next question is: What compressor?
He's probably referring to his shop compressor? that's what mine takes

I take it you haven't had any problems with it.
None..yet anyway :)

You still have regular AF listed, not diesel. I could be wrong but I think these are wet sleeve engines, by not using Diesel AF you could end up pitting the liners eventually.....Mike

I haven't found anyone that knows what I'm talking about and the manual that came with my jinma (actually in english and from the actual American dealer) says to use regular anti-freeze.

I'm not doubting you, just can't seem to find anyone that knows what I'm talking about. If there is a special for the Jinma, I'd rather use it and not take chances.

I googled it, and here is one link for RVs that explains a lot. The question is, do these small (28 HP) engines fall under the wet sleeve or dry sleeve category. I see more research for me coming up.

Thanks (really) for pointing this out to me. I'll try getting a hold of affordable tractor and see if they know and I'll post it on the forum and see if anyone out there knows. I'll let you all know what I find out and make corrections as needed.

Again, thanks ya'll.

My manual -- apparently translated from the Chinese by Google translate -- says to use clean creek water and drain it when below freezing temperatures are expected. No kidding.

My understanding is that while some Chinese diesels are wet sleeve, the Jinmas are not. I use regular anti-freeze.

My manual is actually from the American dealer and is in complete english and they say to use regular anti-freeze. I'm pretty sure this is accurate (sorry Mike). I do believe these are dry sleeved since they are actually "small" diesels.

I did see in the chinese manual that it said the same as yours about creek water, etc.

I couldn't find anything in the engine manual about the type of sleeves. Hopefully someone will have an accurate answer for us on the thread I created earlier for this question.

When you do the injection pump fluid change – remove fill cap and both drain plugs. Measure the amount it takes to refill. I think that you will find it is ~16oz.

Hi erj.

Wouldn't be surprised. I'll be doing that within a few days when I can finally get to the maintenance. If it is, I'll update the pdf accordingly.

I do intend to watch how much fluid goes where so I can check the accuracy of my list.

Thanks for letting me know.

Hey, no problem at all. I thought they were wet sleeve for some reason so I learned something myself :). Now, just gotta find that creek so I can get the special water LOL....Mike
