3-Point Hitch 2008 2310 Stiff 3pt Hitch Lever

I'm using a particularly heavy implement on the 2310 (forestry winch) that is causing a long-standing issue to become annoying. The 3pt hitch control lever is much stiffer than I would like, not at all smooth, so anything heavy goes down in tractor-rocking jumps. I formerly had a TC35D, on which I backed off a castle nut in the linkage to solve this problem but this set-up looks very different. Any solutions?
