Good tractors. Shibaura built. Good operator station that you can see well of off.

Thanks! dusty3030 i see that you own a jd and a kubota so your opinion is probably unbiased ,and thus carries some weight, thanks again.

I have a New Holland T2310 (newer version of the TC40). I agree the Shibaura New Hollands are very good. Very good ergonomics. That is a very good price.

I had a TC35 for a number of years. I really liked that tractor. I sold the land that I used it on and sold it as well.

Great tractors but that one looks like it was rode hard put away wet . Beat to sh-t front end cost you a small fortune to fix . My theory is if no one cares about the outside they shure don't care about the inside [no matinance] Check tractor house they are usually asking in the high teens for one in good shape . If it was in good shape id buy it in a heart beat.:drink:

I don't think it looks all that rough, I've seen way worse. (But of course, those are only two limited view angle pictures) Go drive it and get it warmed up, put it through the paces to make sure it runs okay. Go through all the speed ranges to make sure the hydro is still good and the pumps work well. see if they will let you hook it up to a brush hog or something and spool up the PTO to make sure it works. If it does, 10k is a great price!

hey, I looked at that same one. The salesman sent me a few videos...I was thinking about shipping it but decided against buying site unseen due to the condition.

FYI, they told me they could offer $9000, so start lower than that. Things I noticed:

lots and lots and lots of rust on the floorboard. enough to make me wonder if it got hit with some salt water.

massive leak on the left bucket cylinder.

Some sheered off bolts on the front wheels.

Those two things make me wonder if they really worked the front end loader on this....that was the main reason I stepped away from the deal.

PTO looks like it has never been used. Started up okay, but the starter needs jumped by a loose wire. headlights and grills are busted out and will cost around $800 to replace if you wanted to, as it is missing the lower brackets as well it looks like.

Still, probably a good deal. as long as things pan out. Hours are around 700ish. Make sure they throw in the box blade.

They've had the tractor since February. I get the feeling a lot of people have looked at it, seen how rough the front end has been used, and stepped away. If you decide you want it, I'd use that to your advantage. I bet you could probably get it for $8500 cash.

We've got that same tractor, perhaps built new in 2006 or 2008. It's been a great tractor.

As mentioned the ergonomics are very nice. It's got one of the nicest loader valves I've used. Very smooth and allows very fine control. We've had a few issues over the years. The safety switches have left us flummoxed on occasion. For a while we had to hot-wire the starter directly from the battery because one of the safety switches was preventing starting. I think in the end it was the seat switch (which we'd shorted a long time ago). The other issue is the fenders are fiberglass and after years and years of climbing on/off they have cracked. I don't know what they'll cost to replace but it's not the best design. My brother has the same tractor and same problem.

We've got almost 2000 hours on our and it looks far better than that one.

Maybe it's just the angle but that rear tire doesn't look large enough. We've got ags so I don't have a great reference but I'd investigate if the tires on that unit are the correct size. It'd be awful to have the 4wd messed up because someone mounted the wrong size tire.

Great model tractor at an unheard of price. Think about why it is still available. Note .. any of many issues could easily cost enough to make this a regrettable deal. Good luck.If you get it let us know how it goes
