2006 TC40DA rear Hdyraulics

I have 2 hydraulic couplers on the rear of my 2006 tc40da. These where factory installed. I need to hook a 758c backhoe to the rear of tractor to get it moved . My ? is which one is the pressure out and return ( Top or bottom ). Might also trace it back to the block where the lines go to and tell me if its the back fitting( toward the 3 point ) or front fitting ( toward Motor). I don't want to hook up the lines wrong . P.S This would be with the control lever pulled back that runs the rear hydraulics

Not familiar with your rig, but in general if you trace a line back and find either a filter or a rubber hose with hose clamps instead of hydraulic fittings, that's your return (low pressure) side... Steve

they both are hard plumbed to a block on the right side of rearend of tractor. Note they come out under the block

Your remotes don't have pressure and return, they have either/both. If the lever is pulled back one is pressure and the other return, and if the lever is pushed forward, the opposite occurs. Just hook up the backhoe and try the flow with the lever pulled back. If it is backwards, just push the lever forward. In either direction, you will have to bungee the lever to keep the backhoe powered so its levers control the hoe.

Just plug a 3000 psi hyd gage in the QD you want to use, and move the lever in both directions.

As jinman said, with the lever pushed fwd, plug in the gage to one of the QD's.

Which ever QD shows relief pressure, that is the QD you plug in the BH. The return hose goes to the other QD.

If your BH should have three hoses, push the lever fwd and select the QD with pressure, and plug in the BH IN hose.

Plug the BH PB hose into the other QD.

Run the third hose to the tank.
