I知 having an issue with no spark at the plugs. I get 9.5 volts to the coils in the acc/purest art key position and 12.55 at the battery bu no spark. Any ideas? Second issue is I知 finding $250 for the fuel pump AM136232 and no longer made. Any ideas on an equivalent? Thanks.

If the unit has a twelve volt system any inline twelve volt fuel pump should work. You may wish to use a fuel pressure regulator in line as well. I don't kow how your ignition system works - whether breaker points or an electronic ignition. It's possible some sort of ignition module has "gone south".

Thanks. It’s a 620i with the FD620 Kawasaki engine. I used a cheap replacement pump but cranking w/o the plugs in shoots a lot of fuel out of the cylinders so I’m thinking you’re right; pressure regulator.

The cheap replacement pumps like on ebay have no pressure regulation. They depend on the float in the carburetor to keep things from over flowing. Left unchecked they will produce far more fuel than your little engine can handle and you've found your float won't stop them. Get the regulator and set it for one or two psi. The float should be able to control that. You could also rig a temporary tank higher than the carburetor and use gravity flow with no fuel pump.
