2006 4320 Err 01 Code. Does anyone know what to look for?

I have a 4320 that stopped in the field while mowing. The Err 01 code came on and it won't move forward or reverse. I checked the wires at the pedals and they seem to be fine. Has anyone else had this code and have any ideas on what I should check? The manual says the following..

Err 01

Forward and reverse pedals.

Both pedals are depressed.

Machine does not drive.

Release both pedals and depress one at a time. Contact your John Deere dealer.

Thank you. I was just reading that after finding it in a search. I'm going back out to look again and see if I can figure something out.
