2005 Yamaha 660 Grizzly

A friend of mine told me this morning he was going to sell his Grizzly. Said it had 449 miles on it and he'd take $5,000 for it. I told him I'd let him know tomorrow. Is this a good price? Any known issues with this particular model?

I bought two new 2006 660 Grizzlys in Dec 06. Paid $6500 each. I would say $5000 is ballpark for an 05 with less than 500 miles assuming it is in good condition (which it should be with that few of miles).

I did quite a bit of reading before I bought mine. Don't recall any gotchas with the 05 but there was the 'boiling gas' issue on the very early ones (2002?).

We have just under 300 miles on each of ours now. No complaints.
