A buddy of mine is looking at a 2005 TC29D with 660 hrs, R-4 tires (rears loaded), 7308 FEL, and 60" Farm King snow blower. How much is this tractor worth?

What kind of transmission? HST, 12x12? Quick attach bucket?
The tranny I am not sure about, he said it had cruise control, if that helps. It does have a quick tach bucket.

If it is a TC29D model, it is an HST transmission. The "D" stands for "Deluxe" and HST is part of the package. My guess on the value would be $12.5k to $14k depending on the condition of the snow blower.

OK thanks! My buddy also talked with a New Holland dealer today. The dealer has a 05 TC29D super steer, same hours, same loader, R-4 tires, but a 6' mmm instead of the 60" snow blower, they are asking $16,000. The dealer also had a TC33D super steer, 1000hrs, Rhino loader, either R-4s or turfs, 6' mmm, for $17,000.

The owner of the dealership is a very good friend of my buddys father-in-law, he was out of the office today, so Troy got the prices from one of the salesmen. Troy is hoping once Bob is in, that he will be able to work a better deal, especially since Troy was told today by his accountant that he needs another write-off this year so he wants to buy something this week.

I think the 12,000 to 14,000 range is good. I recently picked up a clean 2003 TC29-D with 900 hrs with FEL and a Woods backhoe for 16,600.

With a handle like that, you gotta' be a pilot!

Yeah, I fly jets for a living but using the TC29 is a whole lot more fun. If you recognized the handle you must be a pilot also.

Just a quick update. My buddy, Troy, ended up buying a 2007 TC33D--supersteer, FEL w/quicktach, 6' mmm with rear discharge, turf tires (but can swap them for R4's if the turfs don't end up working for him), and only 420 hrs. He got it from the dealer who is buddies with his father-in-law, and only paid $14,500. It also came with a 3 month/100hr warranty. I don't think he did too bad, he is having the New Years Eve Party at his house this year so I get to check it out tonight.
