Where did you hear that? I bought a 3235 with the 54 inch deck and 10 bushel triple bagger. It works great for my 1 acre yard and the rear 3/4 gets very wet. I only hosed out the deck underneath once duting the whole season.

When I went to the john deer or the kubota dealers, then all said that deck over 42".Thats 46" or bigger work best if you get the bagger with the blower, which add whole lot of cost to the mowers. which could be any where from 800.00 to 1800.00 depents on the mower and deck size.

That used to be the case. I had a 1978 Cub Cadet 1450 with 44 inch deck and there wasn't any bagger available without having a separate gas engine blower. The new decks, like my 54 inch, have high lift blades and really do a great job of bagging. I mow an acre and used to pull a sweeper around and around to pick up the grass if it was very long when cut. I threw the lawn sweeper out in the trash after buying the new mower.

I'm interested to hear how that agri-fab spiker/spreader works although that's not specifically a "cub cadet" forum topic. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
