Good link. Looks like most questions will be answered there...

Thanks for posting it! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Deen is a great dealership and always has the latest information on their web site.

Looks like they have a typo. They list the 3-pt lift capacity at the link ends as being 1655 lb., but 24" behind it's 1676. That can't be right.

Nitpicking aside, though, /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif they look like pretty solid machines. It also looks like they've beefed up the loader a bit, too. And the backhoe attachment changes should be well-received.

Thanks for the link. It looks at first glance the B2630 is going right after the TC24DA/(TC26DA). It has couple of interesting options. Offset Mid PTO? Can't wait to check it out.

I'm not sure that the loader has been beefed up. When I compared the spec's in my loader owners manual they are within 30 psi. Items I did note were 402 FEL has 1.75 diameter cylinders running a 2000 PSI. 403 FEL has 1.57 diameter cylinders running at 2400 PSI. This makes the loader run faster. But may not improve its load capacity.

In addition to Ronjhall's response.

The lift capacity's and breakout forces are very similiar.

Lift Capacity@ the pivot pin
B2910/LA402 FEL......1060 lbs.
B3030/LA403 FEL......1091 lbs.

Breakout force.....19.7"/500mm forward
B2910/LA402 FEL.......1684 lbs.
B3030/LA403 FEl........1691 lbs.

Please allow me to make a comparison with the New Holland/Case line.

Breakout force.......19.7"/500mm forward
TC29/33 14LA...... 1906 lbs.
B3030/LA403..........1691 lbs.

Breakout force @ pivot pins
TC29/33 14LA....2712 lbs.
B3030/LA403......2314 lbs.

There's been a lot of talk about the superior breakout force of the New holland 14LA and the alledged anemic Kubota LA402. The breakout force numbers for the LA402/403 have changed only by a few pounds. However, information I gleaned today tells me the comparisons have been of apples and oranges. The New Holland 'breakout force @ the pivot' was being compared to the Kubota's 'breakout force 19'7"/500mm forward'. The breakout force is a much closer number than has previously been reported.

Don,
This again illustrates the difficulty in making any sort of apples to apple comparisons.
Based on my local Kubota/Case/Cub dealership and the information he told me:
-- Breakout force of the Kubota 402 at pivot pin = 1684
-- Breakout force of the CNH LX114 at pivot pin = 2712
I just checked the Kubota website and it lists the 402 loader with a breakout force of 1684# but does not specify if it is at the pin or at some other measurement.

As for the comparisions, those have mostly been (but not exclusively) between the smaller 12LA/LX112 on the CNH 21 & 24hp small frame chassis and the LA402 on the B7800 & B2910 which is larger framed (by about 15") but still very small for the 30hp class. The biggest problem that many of us face is that when comparing tractors we have a tendancy to lump all the machines of one HP into the same group. So all 30hp tractors get lumped with all other 30hp tractors.

The B2910 and similar B7800 are essentially small frame tractors and have lower specs in all areas than larger tractors like the L3130. The NH TC29 fits somewhere in the middle upper end of the scale along with the Kioti CK30. I think the JD 30hp model probably fits between the small B2910 and the larger CK30, but the JD models don't often provide perfect apples to apple comparisons either. I've certainly been wrong many times before, if my data is wrong it is because it was given to me wrong, but I will certainly stand corrected.

To get all the answers you may still have to go to a dealer.
Found out today that the BH75 backhoe at this time will not fit a Cab model B3030. It will be fixed shortly.
A kit is going to come out that will allow the BH75 to fit a B7800 tractor.
Hydraulic hook up on the B3030 is different than the B2910. Should be better.
There is a spacer kit to move the wheels out for chains when equipped with turf tires.
As someone else said the PTO's do not require the clutch to be pushed to engage it.
I'm starting to warm up to the upgrades on the tractor. Even though it does not have a electronic dash. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

I can hardly contain myself...A L3400 w/HST! That was the only thing standing between me and a new tractor...Except maybe the wife and $15k to $20K! Seriously, I think I would be REAL interested in that one. I wonder if the price on the new model year will increase much.

I am going to get a chance to get a feel for this size tractor this weekend. I had 33 tons of 3/4" rock delivered and I have a rental 32hp JD reserved (I couldn't find a Kubota). I guess I will find out how good these thing are.

Yes, the GR2000 and GR2100 are both 4WD with Glide-Steer. This is how the Kubota literature defines Glide-Steer:

Glide Steer technology is a revolutionary new feature that allows the tractor to turn in a very tight turning radius. Glide Steer aids in pulling the machine around leaving a very small uncut diamter of grass. Each rear tire has an independent wheel that becomes limited inner rear wheel traction depending on the direction you turn, always allowing the inside rear wheel to track freely, which prevents turf damage that many standard lawn & garden tractors cause. In addition, the front axles turn at a 70-degree angle allowing a tight turn.

Hope this helps.

Ronjhall,

So if a kit will be available to fit the bh75 to the 7800, would that not also work on the 2910? A subframe mounted backhoe on my 2910 sure would look good. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Yes. But this is Kubota we are talking about. I may not happens as fast as we would like.
I wonder what changes will be required with a MMM?

Yes, I figure that extra backhoes probably won't be available for quite some time. Heck, I might even be able to afford one by then. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif
