2005 JD 4010 - total hydraulic failure

Just had hydraulic failure on my 4010 after 660 hours and almost 9 years. No one replied to my other post about this. Wonder if it's just that pin? Warned my wife that I wanted to trade it in next year. May go ahead and do it this year. Got my eye on the 1023 or 1026.
Any comments on these? Wondering what the lift capacity of the 49" loader is. It's about 1,000 # on the 53" one on the 4010. Really good FEL in a small tractor.

The gizmo on the output shaft from the engine went, and it caused the shaft input pin on the U joint to the hydraulics/differential area. About $675 worth of parts needed. I got an estimate on a new 1025R with loader and new bush hog ($700 credit on another implement and $500 for my LX-4) for a net $200. Think I'll take the check to the dealer in the morning. The 1025R has everything better than the 4010 except for not having the split brakes. I'll do a new post with pics when I get the new tractor delivered.
