I picked up a "new to me" 2005 F725, 54" deck with the Power Flow bagger. It has 241 hours on it and it looks like its brand new & I have a few questions. How can I get the cutting deck to stay in the raised position for removing the mower blades? I read the manual and it says "to raise the deck, lift the button, to lower, let it go". Thats great, but I need it raised to put it in the shed and for loading and unloading on the trailer.

I used it for the first time last night and it seems pretty good, decent power and manoeuvrability. The locking diff is a nice option. The tail end swings around just like the combine so it does not take much to get used to.

Any info and tips would be greatly appreciated. I tried doing some searches, but did not come up with much.

I have a 725, there is no way to lock the deck in the up position, all you can do is slow how fast it will come down, I put a chain on mine to allow me to work on it but the deck is prety heavy to keep in the up position

Block the mower deck up under the front roller to change blades etc.
