2005 Kubota B2910
My 3pth is stuck in the all the way up position, I used it today, lifted weight box off ground, did some work, put it down went down, went back to work, lifted it back up with loaded weight box still on it, then I went to go park in garage and it would not go down, this is a heavu weight box, is the real kubota box full of concrete, I checked the linkage and best i could tell it works, and I turned the drop speed knob both ways and nothing. I could not see the 3pth binding or stuck on anything. I looked in the owners manual and there is nothing in there for this situation.

Check your other quick disconnect fittings, like on FEL. If you have one partially foobarred, it can cause strange things with the whole hydraulic system. Also, do you have the adapter installed to add rear hydraulics? If so, that little turd lives behind the right rear wheel in a place that always seemed like it was looking for a branch to get snaggled on. You might check the fittings on that to be sure it's intact, as well as any QDs on your rear hydraulics.

So .... was it the drop knob? as in rotate counterclockwise and then lower the lift lever? Or something else?

yeah it was the drop knob, haha i feel like an idiot now! I turned it a few turns both ways and it did nothing at first, so when i went back out there i turned it, and turned it and turned it! haha that darn things turns alot more then i thought it would! I think that i must hit it with my feet over time getting on and off and tightened it up over time. I am just glad it was something simple and easy! now i will have more time to wire up my HID work lights and heated seat! haha:thumbsup:

Hey cool man, I cant count how many guys have had this problem. Including me, about a year and a half ago, I was grading all day some dirt on a very steep slope with the FEL and it got dark and I quit to put the tractor up, I remember of course using the seat belt to hold me in the seat and tucking my left foot back towards the seat. I guess I worked the knob with my foot accidently. Any way when I went to lower the rear weight, it would not come down:( It took me a few minutes to figure it out:eek: So join the club..
