Seen a lot of great answers to many questions on here and was hoping someone could help me with mine. I have a 2004 Jinma Worktrac 284, recently im getting a lot of oil blowing out of the Respirator (Crankcase Breather). I'm understanding tat this should allow air into the crankcase and the vacuum on the oil filler cap should be sucking it out. But it isn't. Doesn't seem to have any water in the oil or anything else in the oil like hydro fluid. But for some reason I can start it up and it will literally blow a stream of oil out of the respirator after a few minutes. Also seems to be starting got run a little hot. Thank you for nay help or advice you can give. I'm thankful I found this place.

Not trying to alarm you but, if that Jinma is like my chinese tractor, it does not have positive crankcase ventilation . mine just has an atmospheric vent.
One way to have pressurized venting is for piston ring leakage to have increased for some reason...

I have seen some chinese tractors that do vent the crankcase or valve cover into the intake manifold- but this is not the same as a gas engines intake manifolds vacuum because there is no throttle valve.

Does the vent also have a lot of gasses /smoke/vapor in addition to the oil escaping?

The respirator has smoke, oil, and gases coming out of it. Its like a lot of pressure. The engine has a vacuum line hooked to the Oil filler cap but very little vacuum is going to it.

Mmm sounds like the piston rings are allowing blow-by therefore increasing crankcase pressure.

Any recent change in how smooth the engine runs, like a miss?

I've noticed that it is harder to start and revs up very slow. Haven't really drove it since it started pushing the oil out of the crankcase breather. Didn't want to mess it up any worse. BTW thanks for all of yalls help with this truly is great to know such good people in this world.

Head gaskets go all the time on these engines. That's where I would look. Fortunately it's not that hard a fix.
