Just turned 143 hours and my tailpipe broke right off the muffler near the last rigid mount that attaches to the engine. It looks like the vibration may have gotten to it. Has anyone else had this problem (besides Rob2310 who has had to replace his muffler twice!)? I did a quick weld to finish the job I was working on, but need a more permanent fix before I do much more. Does anyone know if the side exhaust muffler is an improvement to fix this issue? Or is it just to keep the FEL from turning black? TIA for any thoughts or ideas to repair/improve the existing muffler mounts.
