2003 TC30 won't start

Any other suggestions?

It is most likely a safety switch which will not only prevent starting, but will cut off a running engine as well. Try the simple stuff like bouncing on the seat or quickly engaging/disconnecting the PTO with a "snap" if you can.

Years ago I had been mowing with my NH 1530 near the house and shut it off. I went into the house and when I came back out, she wouldn't start. My Lab pup was lying down by the tractor, looking guilty. I looked under the tractor and saw wires hanging from the pto sensor. The dog had chewed the wire in half. I was able to splice it and get it going.

Oh my, I guess it was nice that she stayed around to shamefully admit to the crime otherwise it might have taken you a while to figure that one out.

OK, I have a 2003 TC30 HST as well. I had this problem recently and it turned out that the battery wasn't holding a sufficient charge to turn over the engine. I guess I should've expected it since it is the original battery. In my experience most automotive batteries only last about 5 years, 6 years if you're lucky. This one was almost 20 years old, so I should buy a lottery ticket right? Anyway I replaced the battery and that fixed everything. Now getting the old battery out was a chore, but that's a story for another time.

If safety switch it is the neutral switch on the left side. The seat switch it will start but cut out almost instantly do to fuel solenoid not getting power. On mine I believe I had moisture in the switch that was frozen. I have found nothing else wrong.
