2003 NH TD75 vs 2007 JD 5403

2003 NH TN75 vs 2007 JD 5403

Need tractor for clearing 43 acres of raw land (for hobby farm) using a heavy Bush Hog 326 rotary cutter, building a gravel road, eventual disc work.

2003 815hrs NEW HOLLAND TN75 with Quicke Q720 loader. $23.8k
2007 781hrs JOHN DEERE 5403 with 522 loader. $23k

I reviewed details on TractorData, and they seem comparable to a newbie like me. The JD is a little lighter, apparently. Can you pro's help me distinguish between the two?

Are prices in the ballpark?

Would one be more suitable than the other for the task at hand, setting up raw land for a hobby farm?

I believe the New Holland is a TN75. The TD75D didn't arrive until 2006.

Exactly right, I should have said TN75.

I have an 05 5103 JD and it has suited me well. I use it mainly for bushhogging and discing. Very easy to operate and maintain
