2003 Kubota L4310HST tractor- glow plug issue

The tractor listed above has been a great unit for all the work I do around the farm with a tractor of this size, virtually bulletproof, however the glow plugs have ceased operating properly, I replaced the timer under the dash, but no luck, the dash lite goes on and stays on, sometimes goes off. The tractor always starts, but I'm concerned about possible damage if they are replaced and break off in the cylinder, any thoughts?? The local Kubota dealer, Minnis International, is clueless and no help.

The first thing I'd try to figure out is whether the glow plugs are actually staying on the whole time the indicator light is on. If it's just a faulty indicator light and the glow plugs are shutting off when they should, then I'd still try to fig the problem but it's just an indicator light and is likely not harmful. If the glow plugs are staying on all the time, I've want to fix that right away.
