Long title for free cheapie. Engine runs great, belts shot, idlers so/so to locked, dead stator, trans iffy when turning by hand, spindles need brgs, new blades(still paint on them), mouse nest on left head. May be a bit of a money pit but I can't resist making stuff work again. I'm not too keen on all the belts & pulleys but guess they can work ok. I've watched the vids about tranny slippage and unstable decks(mine is the quick release 46"). It probably makes sense to just fix & sell as my JD111 will probably outlast me. I swore off project motorcycles 3yrs ago but have replaced those w everything else-weed whips, blower vacs, chipper/shredders, chainsaws, snow blowers, out boards. And now this dropped on my lap. So many projects & so much retirement time!

Some of the most expensive projects Ive done were the free bees. Dont no why , they just end up that way. Sometimes its all about haven something to do. Have fun friend
