2002 TC45D

I am looking at a 2002 New Holland TC45D. Hydro drive, rear remote, LA17 loader, quick disconnect bucket & fork set, grille guard, etc. Has 71 hours and looks like new. Owner wants $20K. Looking for feedback on this price. Thanks!

Either go buy that tractor as fast as you can, or please tell us where it is and the owner's telephone number so someone else can get that very good deal.

Understand that I don't think you are "stealing" it at that price, but it's a very good deal. All the warranty is gone, but the history of this model tractor leads me to believe you will not have any expensive repairs. If you can negotiate the owner down because of no warranty, I'd give it a try. You might get another $500 off. Also, if you buy a new tractor from NH right now, you can get 4 yr at 0% (I think that's the radio ad I heard). That also can help you negotiate because you will have to get a bank loan to buy the tractor and no bank I know would give you less than about 8% on a tractor loan.

Thanks for the info. That is what I was thinking, but I'm not that knowledgeable about tractors. That 0% is the kicker that's such a deal for a brand new one, but this one looks like it never left the showroom even though it's going on 4 years old.

17LA most likely means SuperSteer. Either added value or an option you don't want. It is for you to decide; and may be a factor in your final decision. For my uses, the benefits simply aren't there.
