2002 NH TC45D Fuel and Engine Temp gauge not working.

Does anybody have any tips in fixing the Fuel gauge and Engine Temp gauge as both are not working on the panel for my 2002 NH TC45D. Speedometer is working. Where to start looking to get this fixed?

Have you checked the fuse box under the dash? I don't recall where each goes to right off hand, but anytime my instrument panel goes wonky or my rig won't start, I just do a visual inspection along that row of fuses. More often than not I'll find one blown.

While you're checking fuses you should be aware that just because a fuse looks does not mean it is good. Sometimes they'll crack internally. Your fuse panel should identify which fuse is for what. You can then use a meter to check the individual fuse.

Did you try flicking it hard with your finger? Mine never works upon start up but once it's running just give the gauges a good flick and they work all day . Sounds stupid but it works.:drink:
