Price Check 2001 NH TC35 Price check

I am looking at a 2001 NH TC35 tractor. It has 859 hrs on the clock, R4 tires, 16La FEL, 12x12 shuttle trans. They are asking $14,679. From the photos the tractor appears to be in good condition, but is likely a rental. Is this a good price? I think it might be a bit high with the amount of hours on the tractor, any suggestions?

That tractor probably originally sold for about $17,000, so you be the judge on what you are willing to pay. I agree, it is priced toward the high side since it is a rental. I'd be looking for a better deal simply because you don't know what abuse the clutch is likely to have seen by rental operators.

I think I would move on and look else where. I have seen too many rental units in action and people don't take care of them. If it is not their machine they just beat the crap out of them. I bet them 800 some hours are tough hours. And the price is high if Jinman is right on the new price which I trust he is right.

In my opinion, the price sounds too high. I just went through the purchase of a TC35DA and ended up paying $15,000 for the tractor with 342 hours on the clock, 16LA FEL, two 6' bush hogs, a 6' rock rake, and 3 pt mounted spreader. The tractor is not perfect by any means but is in overall good shape. It is a 2004 model year. I would keep looking or maybe make an offer of around $12,000 at the most. Hope this helps.
