Can anyone help with the specs for the tractor? Does this model have a flat deck, sync shuttle transmission for loader work? GPM pump? thanks for the help

It has a completely flat deck. The shuttle is synchronized, the transmission has 16 x 16 speeds, the gears are synchronized in 3 - 4th only, it has 4 ranges. The main pump has 6.7 gpm and steering pump has 3.4 gpm.

Thanks for the help. I looking to buy this used 2001 mf 1250 for general work around my house. Have 20 aceres in vermont.
The dealer wants has quoted 18-19k for the achine with a 8 foot massey hoe. Do you think this is fair?

I don't know about used but in my 2000, MF 1250 with MF 1217 hoe and MF loader was $22,800-23,800 When I traded it in, I got about what you have been ask. (The best I can remember.) The condition of the unit and hours on the machine will have a large impact on the sale price.

This will be a brand new 8' hoe. The dealer is taking it in trade next week and has told me the machine has around 70 hours. Any common problems that you are aware of? Based on this I think it is a pretty good deal but I am just not farmilar with the machine or all the specs. Right now I have a mf1020 with an APRS 70 hoe, a small machine with a lot of heart.

I have a '93 MF1250 and I love it. I only wish I had a hoe attachment to go with my FEL. I've only had problems twice and both were human error. I hooked on to a tree much too heavy for this compact and popped a rear end. Secondly, someone sugared my fuel tank which blew my engine. As for the tractor, great. The Iseki diesel is a power house. Enjoy.
