Just an update on the information that you gave me. Thermoking no longer puts Perkins diesels in their units. They have yanmars and one other brand diesel motor that I can not remember. There is a dealer/service center close; so I will go and see them next week and see what I can come up with.

Guess I got lucky! My 1500 came with thermostart and a foot throttle. I had always assumed those were standard things...wrong again I was! /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
