I have about 30hp at the PTO. I have a 60 something inch rear blower. It mows through anything 8inches or less. Anything over that or too heavy and I am crawling along. That said I've crawled through about 2 feet with it and had no issues, just have to go slow.

Less power = more time. More power=more FREE time.

What's your time worth friend? Mine is valuable, so I got the biggest one I could afford at the time. But, a 65 hp pto with an 84 inch blower would sure be nice...

Lol I agree. 60hp tractors aren't cheap. My dealer is telling me that 25hp will do the job just fine where most people say get more hp. I'm looking at CK2610 and CK3510 both with the same blower. I'm wondering if that extra $4000 could be better spent on another implement

My 40 hp CK4010 handles our 300 annual snowfall hear on the south edge of Lake Superior. Would more power be nice? Of course, but 60 hp is probably overkill.

I would wager that, because of the proximity to Lake Superior, we get far more snow locally that Northern Ontario does.

The CK2610 seems popular here, based on what I have observed, but, then again, the lower end of the DK series has a presence now that a HST is available.
