2 stage hydro pumps

I know ya get what ya pay for but these days sometimes ya pay for good stuff and get Chinese crap. I am not opposed to using China products that are decent. My local tractor supply has 11 gpm 2 stage pumps for 215.00. I found some on eBay and elsewhere for about 100.00 some of the cheaper ones are American company's offering a warranty. What is the difference? The tractor supply one is a Parker, and Parker is good however looks wise the other is the same design, different color.

Note that the major hyd pump makers source some of their products from China. Even
Parker. Sometimes I buy stuff directly from China.

Anyway, a name-brand pump is preferable to a no-name, even if both are built in China, IMO.
It is about QA, and a co like Parker will put effort in that area.

If price is your driver, buy from the eBay dealer. They, as well as TSC, have return policies.

Haldex pump from Northern Tool has been trouble free for me for about 10 years. But at 159.00 plus shipping its not much cheaper than tractor supply. Seems they've increased in price quite a bit.
