This is a project I have been working on over the last the days. It started has a clay/shale bank. The idea is to stop it eroding and make it grow something. I rotary hoed it so it was loose then shoveled it into shape then rotary hoed it again to level it. We then put the pieces of concrete in, leveled it with the concrete, added a sprinkling of sheep manure and mulched it (that hasn't happened to the too yet). Eventually I want to plant the whole area out with native type plants. The first photo is after the first day, the second photo is half way through the second day, and the rest of the photos are after the second half of the second day.

I need to do something similar, I have rivers flowing here when it rains, im now trying to dig trenches to direct the water to the pond.... I do this by hand and with the help of an garden tractor with trailer

anyway, that looks good!! and hard work
