Glad to hear that you got some good work out of it. It sounds like your first real task was like mine--rough mowing 4'-7' tall weeds. Like you, I was amazed by how easily it cut through the thickest, most dense weeds and woody shrubs as if they were not even there.
I decided in my first mowing to give it a real stress test. I have a pond on my property with an approximately 20' tall 30 degree angle dam. I parked myself at the bottom of the dam, put the tractor in 2wd and mowed straight backwards through 3' tall grass and wild raspberries. The closest it came to faltering for even a moment was when I hit a slick part of grass in which case I simply stepped on dif lock and the tractor effortlessly continued to mow backwards with the LX4 all the way to the top. This is certainly not the best way to use this tractor but it did not matter for one instant. If it can perform under these conditions, I can hardly imagin how it would be stopped.
