1999 4200 3point problems

I have a 99 4200 and the 3point has a problem. When the lever it in lift it lifts fine but if let go the 3 point will fall and will only stay up if the flow controll valve is shut off. Is there a check valve problem or something else? Thanks

when you let go is the lever moving forward? if so find a way to tighten it so it can't fall forward...

I'd also recommend moving this to the JD owning/operating forum, more people will see it.

Try to give a bit clearer description of the problem...is it like hanson1999 wrote?
Is the lever staying in the raised position, yet the 3PH is dropping?
