Price Check 1997 John Deere 755 with FEL and model 7 Backhoe

Hi folks. I used to be here a lot many years ago. We sold our 6 acres and moved to town. :/

There is a nearby dealer who specializes in used CTs. I called to gauge his interest and of course he asked me what I wanted for the CT. Told him I'd get back to him, and thought I'd ask here for ideas. I've looked online and found only a very few comparisons.

What I have is, 1997 4WD 755 with 1045 hours. I've owned it since 2001. Turf tires, Model 70 loader with the bigger light materials bucket, and the Model 7 BH. I also have the 3 pt hitch arms etc. The condition is probably a lot better than average for that age and model, but has the general expected cosmetic wear. I could post a pic or two, but I don't want this to be a classified ad. I truly am just looking for price guidance. I'm in Illinois if that matters.

My best guess is $9000-10,000. What does a similar new one cost? Thanks for any help.

Well, the dealer showed no interest. Maybe it's too old for him. I'll probably post a classified here.

That's a highly sought after machine, and if in good shape is probably worth more than that. Tractor House has quite a few, but only one with a loader, none with a backhoe.

I know location mean a lot, but around here that machine would probably list for sale around $15k, expecting to deal a little.
