Well i hate to say komatsu has the largest..biggest.. 336,000 # and 1150hp.. I think they even have a larger one now for the NC mountian clearing project somewhere about 425,000 and 1800hp i think they had it made in 96-97?? It was on discovery channel i think it's from komatsu Jap./china

I was looking for specs on D11r or D11cd and couldn't find it any ideas on specs?

Yes, the Komatsu 575 is considerably larger then the D11R. But I won't be too picky if given a set of keys to either /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Don Campbell is currently building a 1/12 scale D-11R. This thing is huge but wonderfully done.

Yep, nothin' like climbing to work in the morning /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif I looked at one once and thought for those of us coffee drinkers that the climb might pose a problem at times. Then I got to thinking. Dust control is important on the job site and those tracks have plenty of room to stand on /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

wonder why they took the D10 + D11 specs off cat's website?

Looks like ACCO made a huge beast more powerfull than anyone made in 1980's.. 2 - 1300hp cat engines weight is 183 tons.. 366,000#

Don scales everything by eye most of the time. However, for this project he did get the spec sheets from Cat. So he has the actual machines measurements to go from and to scale them down is simple math.

Here is the 994 loader he made, this one he did by eye. All he needs is good photos from all the sides so he can get the scale right.
