My 4610SU needs a new clutch. I am looking at the parts list on the New Holland site, and it seems there are 2 different kinds of clutches, a finger type and a diaphragm type. How would I know which type I have without splitting the tractor & looking?

I see a reference to "rigid drive and IPTO", they use the same clutch disc & pressure plate? I guess I am a but confused.

I'm wondering if this kit is what I need: Amazon.com: Clutch Kit For Ford New Holland Tractor - 82006027 82006015: Patio, Lawn & Garden

Here are the numbers from my tractor:

Tractor Number: BB57269
Model Number: DS314C
Unit Number: 8D19B
Engine: 117520 8D16* (*-can’t make it out)
Transmission: 8D11B
Rear Axle: 8C04B
HYD Pump: 8D11B
HYD Lift: 8D18A
Rops: 19-932

I believe if I read your true model code that you have a standard 8X2 transmission which would probably have the diaphram clutch. The finger clutch is the heavy duty and would be found in the synchro transmission. This is not to say yours might have the finger plate and not to say you couldn't put it your tractor.
I just edited my reply as I hadn't looked at the Amazon link. I was going to advise going elsewhere, but that kit is a great price and I wouldn't worry about the clutch you have presently.
Also, take this opportunity to replace the 3 freeze plugs on the back of the engine at this time.
