1985 jd 1050 whats it worth?

hello there new to this sight im looking at buying a 1985 jd 1050 with a mower attachment its got 2800 hours and pooks pretty good there asking 7500 is that a good price and is there anything i should check on the tractor when i go see it? thanks for the help
