What is the 3400 based on, ag-tractor wise? the 3000? I'm going to need some knick nack parts and would like to know which ones will work.

I'm looking for a proof meter (gauge cluster), light switch, grille, hood cowl/ radiator shield (metal piece above grille that was smashed by a log by PO), etc.

Which parts do not interchange (I know the front axle and steering for sure).

What vehicle uses a NAPA 91521 oil filter? I have the spin on filter adapter but I don't typically shop at NAPA.

What fluid does the rear axle take?

Thanks for the help.

I actually have the

"1965-1975
Ford Tractor
Service Manual

Tractor Series 2000, 3000, 4000, 5000, 7000, 3400, 3500, 3550, 4400, 4500, 5500, and 550"

and the

"FORD
Operators Manual
Indusrtial Tractors
3400, 3500, 3550, 4400, 4500"

but they don't help me with the information I'm searching for. Basically, I'm trying to find out which parts off which tractors will fit mine, since the 3400 wasn't as common as say an ag or utility 3000.

your best bet is to google pictures and compare them u no what yours look like its hard as any 1 would just buy the same parts that go there new or use

the 3400 is just a 3000 with a straight front axle and heavier tie rods, radius rods. And has 5/8 in. cylinder rods when the 3000 has 1/2 in cylinders rods for the steering. Everything but the front axle parts or the same on a 3000/3400
