1973 ford 2000 tractor

my hydrauic lift has been acting u for awhile in cold weather the lift will not lift for about 30 min. and when it does lift it trimbles and is very slow. I have the cover gasket set to rebuild, does anyone know how to adjust the travel rod before reassembly. thanks for any help. rat patrol

The local NH dealer has a rack of IT (Information Technology) as I recall (the name) on a rack in the parts counter area. Find your 3 cylinder model 2000 and have a go at it. The whole changeout/maintenance instructions for the 3 pt hyd. system are contained including the measurement in question. Haven't bought one in yearsssssss but used to be less than $30.
