1972 Ford 4000 Stalls

My tractor starts and runs for maybe 10 minutes then stalls. It will start again but only run for 20 seconds or so. This is a 3 cyl gas engine. I have new plug wires and plugs. The carb bowl has gas when I pull the drain plug. The throttle does not seem to raise the RPM's. Any ideas as to what else may be going on would be a big help.

i would check for water in the gas. drain some off into a clean dry jar let it sit and look for bubbles the water will seperate.
