I hit a rock with my bush hog and broke the shear pin. The PTO shift attachment went flying around, then I noticed the PTO seal was leaking on the tractor and it looks like shaft has moved out (about 1/2 inch). Any thoughts how to get the shaft back in and replace the seal. Thanks in advance

Not real familiar with the IH models, but wondering if you got this fixed? I would think you have to remove the rockshaft/top cover to access.

I am going to try and change the seal and see what happens. I haven't used anything off the PTO. I don't use the tractor that much in the winter. Next summer I will look at it again, when I try and use the PTO. It turns free and engages. I think the clutch is gone as I have to stop and engage it as the engine is stopping. It will grind when I push the clutch in trying to engage the PTO. Thanks for the input
