Tractor
2018 Kioti CK-4010 HST, 1967 Massey Ferguson 135 (UK Model) 3 Cyl Diesel Perkins, 3 Speed, 1957 Ford 640 Gas
Currently in the process of selling some acreage and really wanted to buy a new Tractor with FEL. Instead of spending $25K to $27K on a new tractor I bought this 1968 Vintage Massey Ferguson 135 for $4,200 delivered (3 hour round Trip).

I decided to go this route so I could have the money to buy my 24 year old Step- Son ( Double Amputee) a new Trac- Fab All Terrain Wheelchair ($13,000). I want to see him more mobile. I believe I made the right decision. I can buy a new Tractor later.

I have the Tractor being delivered tomorrow. Do you think this Tractor was a good choice? The meter doesn't work so don't know actual mileage.

My property is still in closing for 30 to 40 days but this is the Gas Powered Trac-Fab Wheelchair his Mother and I are buying him after property closing. He is very active and this will help him become more mobile.

One of the best utility tractors made. Parts are easy to come by. The Perkins diesel is legendary. Does it have power steering?

I gotta tell you, that is one cool lookin' unit...I think ANYONE could have a blast with that....Hope he enjoys it! By the way, I think a 30 cal. Browning would look great mounted on that thing! As far as the tractor...try and find out where that came from...it looks a lot like the 135 diesels that were built in Europe. ( I have a '67 Cont. gas unit).. Those 135 diesels that were built here had the headlights mounted on the side of the cowling rather than built in to the front...Anyhow, good luck and let us know how everything turns out. I've been watching for a 35 or 135. They have a cult following all over the world as being one of the best small tractors.
Great deal!

You can't put a price tag on giving a young man another chance. Well done!

Does the chair come with a FEL? Your boy could work right along side you. They are both nice looking units. For and old massey that has been proven by the test of times that one doesn't show too many age spots and for that price I think you did well. I was originally looking for one of those when I was buying but nothing that clean was available. My dad had a 196? Deluxe 35 on 50 acres and after 20 years had the gas engine rebuilt and it was like new for another 20 years, just sold in the estate auction for $2000 in quite a tyred state. Simple tractors, easy to work on, not much to go wrong with them. Good luck and your an awesome step dad and I think the step part should be
removed.
