The hydro started getting very loud and whining. I filled the tranny to the line with the low viscosity JD hydraulic and tranny oil. And changed the filter. This started happening when I was in a parade. Going to check fluid level again. See what it looks like. Anyone have any ideas on why its doing this?

Are you sure it takes LoVis oil. I seem to recall older JDs using dexron 3. Nice tractor by the way.

Edit. I meant to say Type F, not Dexron 3.
