1967 hydraulic pump

I have a 1965 Ford 5000. The 3 point stopped working suddenly will not lift at all, even without a load. PTO still turns. Am I looking at a new hydraulic pump? Are there some more common smaller part failures that may cause this? If so, which one would you think is the most likely? We don't have a lot of experience diagnosing, don't want to just throw parts at it either hoping to find it. Too expensive and time consuming
