1962 Ford 2000 Rim paint color

Hello everyone. Im trying to find the correct color to paint my 1962 Ford 2000 rims. Im not doing a parade resto, just a little touch up.

You mean what color of white?

The rim paint on the tractor is probably not original. It looks white in the pics but it is kind of a cream color, yellowish. I have read on some other sites that it is light ford grey, med ford gray, ford white. I guess it really doesn't matter as long as the rust spots are taken care of and it gets painted. Thanks for taking the time to read and reply to my post.

as said, soundguy would prolly know the correct color of 'white', but for a pre-'65 I dont know.. I would think that a form of 'antique white' would work. And as you found, its actually a 'really light grey' on post-'65's.. so you could just use the same.

Wait for others to answer before you paint it. I recall the color is off-white but it's Ford off-white and it's probably a special mix. get it right so the tractor will look correct. Costs the same either way.

I am asking and not telling, but I have a 1951 ford pickup. F-1. I guess F(minus)1 would be an E?
He told me to paint the grille " Windsor White"
It kinda has an antique or yellowish hue and "Windsor" was an engine name of Ford's. Does that spark any memories with anyone?
I bought the rattle can of that color at Oreilly Auto Parts.

Once again thanks. I think I'm going with Ford Med gray. A lot of sanding and some rattle cans.

I LIKE medium grey on the tin and rims.

if you have some rims that are more buff or at least custard cream.. they may have come off a light industrial.
