I have a 1960's sears ss12. I replaced the bearing a little over a year ago and packed it solid with grease. Recently I had to have someone re wire the starter/generator because it would barely turnover even with a brand new battery. The lawn was already 2 weeks high. I cut the lawn 2 in 2 days gradually inching down and picking up the left over. I almost finished and I seen smoke coming up from under the deck. I brought it in my garage and the deck was red hot. The bearings literally melted them selves right on to the shaft of the center pully. I can 2 of the 4 parts I need. Is their anywhere that could perhaps have a remake or even modify the deck to make a new shaft work? Please help me with my problem I'm having a party t the end of this week and I need the lawn cut badddd
