Tractor Sizing 195D tire size

My YM 195 D has 6-12 tires on the front wheels. I have checked the travel with the rear wheels and it is within 2" on a turn.
the manual specs the front tires as 5-14".
Can anyone tell me what the circumference of these tires is as compared to the 6-12's.
I have wheels in both sizes, so I just want to get it right.
What I have seems to be working O.K. but it doesn't seem to add up??
Confusion is only fun if it involves panties and bra's.

They should both be close enough to 24" diameter to not make a difference.

Thanks Norm. I guess that's what I needed to know. I was concerned with the difference between 12" and 14".

Try driving on a hard surface in 4x4. If it shifts in and out without problems you are ok. If it wants to stick, you have a problem.

I'll try that but it will be a month or more before I see that much solid surface around here. Currently covered in ice. /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif
