I bought this B wide front four years ago off Craigslist for $1750.



Tractor ran fine at delivery. Previous owner used it to rake hay.

Had to fix a stuck radiator shutter assembly (remove and soak in PB Blaster for a few days to loosen the rust). Also replaced brake linings (not difficult).

It has the PowerTrol hydraulics on the rear end, rockshaft for the three point and the 540 rpm pto shaft at the rear. Planned to build a three point hitch for it. Things changed and so I sold it last Nov for $1800.

The photos give you an idea of what a $1750 JD B with all the extras should look like.

Flusher, that's a cool old tractor. We never had one, but a neighbor had one when I was a kid. It would come poppin' down the road by our place every so often. That engine's signature sound is like nothing else I ever heard.

Those old two cylinder JDs are genuine classics. Can't have a vintage tractor collection without one, IMHO.
