I have a 1946 john deere tractor that I just got from my father what is the best way to go about selling this tractor it is in good shape and runs like a top it was being used up until a couple of months ago .

Do not paint it, most old tractor guys like to know what they are getting and paint hides it. Most will just walk away. Where are you located?

There is a web site dedicated to older tractors, they buy and sell, wish i could recall the name of the site, you might have to do a search.

try www.atis.net or www.ytmag.com. Both have a classified section for old tractors. Beleive it or not,a lot of them sell on ebay as well.

Guy, try YesterdaysTractors.com. They even have classifieds for vintage tractors, as well as alot of good info.
